Dope Black Dads

Dope Black Dads is a safe space and social movement which set out to Inspire, Heal, Empower and celebrate not only black fathers but the black community. Dope Black Dads was set up on Fathers Day 2018 by Marvyn Harrison, through a simple WhatsApp message appreciating and recognising the work they were and are still doing. Marvyn had grown frustrated by the lack of conversation around positive black fathers.

As the year progressed, his small WhatsApp group grew rapidly to include fathers beyond the UK, in New York and South Africa. Dope Black Dads now supports a number fathers directly and many more globally through its contents, events and Award-nominated podcast.

Crown MI

My Health My Being, My Health My Voice.
“In order to rebuild our Empire, we have to rebuild our Minds”.
Nena is the founder of the Mental Health initiative for Queer Womxn Of Colour, Crown Mi Ltd.  A qualified therapeutic counsellor, she is also a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and is passionate about the wellbeing of those who are often ostracised in society.  Nena’s observation for the requirement of Mental Health Services within her community stems from her own experience of being someone who has been on both sides of the chair, as client and counsellor.  Whilst working through her own challenges of living with depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), she was moved by a lack of representation for women of colour struggling with their mental wellbeing.  With a burning desire to give Queer Women of colour a safe space to share, be heard and relate without judgement regarding their Mental Health, Crown M(ental) I(illness) was born.
Crown Mi Ltd is dedicated to creating platforms geared toward the empowerment of Queer Womxn of Colour (QWOC) who require support with their Mental Health in a safe space free from the stigmatic gaze.  During sessions, honest forms of expression are encouraged to allow womxn to take proud ownership of their mental illnesses in order to manage their mental wellbeing effectively.  Our mission is to transform what may be considered a hindrance for QWOC, into Crown’s that can be worn with pride. Crown Mi focuses on carrying this objective out with therapeutic assistance that concentrates on breaking down walls and building confidence.
Disclaimer
Although Crown Mi is aimed at Queer Black Womxn, it is an inclusive organisation for all Womxn of Colour.

Save Gold

A well known wealth building principle is to make your money work for you.  To create ‘cashflow’, so that you don’t have to work longer hours to make ends meet.
The pressures in today’s society result in broken homes, broken relationships, homelessness, unemployment, poverty and crime, to name a few.  Why? Lack of cashflow in households and in communities.
#SaveGold is affiliated with a FREE wealth building opportunity operating in Croydon, across the U.K. and in 145 countries.
Learn how to create cashflow using whatever money you already have, no matter how small. Learn how to create cashflow for yourself, your families, your community projects and your global community.
Learn how to become an entrepreneur for the cost of a decent pair of trainers. You decide – trainers or an income-producing business?
The opportunity is open to anyone who is 18 and over, to empower individuals and whole communities to take charge of their income and their outcomes.
For further details and information about the free Croydon meetings, please contact Caron at 07908 128 114 or email savegoldwithcaron@gmail.com
