Stand Up Black Dads 2019

October 2019 was the launch of our first exhibition. We launched this exhibition to educate, empower and help transform the negative stereotypes of the 'Black Dad'. The event was used to highlight that the 'Black Dad' is around (present in their children's lives). With this, we provided many educational and empowering talks and workshops for all our attendees to benefit from. Some of our guest speakers covered: Money management and debt recovery, Sexual education and relationships, Awareness around Mental health, Father's parental rights in the UK, Empowerment talks and we also had a live panel of fathers where our attendee's could ask anything. Some of our workshops covered: Employment and Hair care.
